What to Expect - Conservatory Installation
We would like to let you know the approximate timeframe and what to expect at each stage of your conservatory project.
ORDER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE — 1 WEEK
Revive will request a copy of your Certificate of Title from Land Information New Zealand.
DRAFTSMAN — 2 WEEKS
Your Certificate of Title, job details and conservatory design will be sent to our draftsman to draw the plans.
PLANS SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT — 7 WEEKS
Your plans will be submitted to Council along with an application for permit of your conservatory. Additional information may be required by Council (e.g engineer’s report) which will extend the turnaround time out beyond their target of 4 weeks. (This may also incur additional costs). Once your permit is issued, we will forward your permit documents to you to hold on site.
SITE WORKS (CONCRETE SLAB ONLY) — 2 WEEKS
Our sub-contractor will prepare and box out the area where your new concrete floor will be poured and organise a floor inspection by a Council inspector. Once passed, the floor will be poured. The Council will then return to complete a final inspection.
SITE MEASURE — 2 WEEKS
Once the concrete floor is dry, our Site Measurer will finalise details of your conservatory with you and complete a detailed site measure.
MANUFACTURE — 6 WEEKS
Our factory will manufacture your conservatory.
INSTALLATION — 3 DAYS
The installation of most conservatories takes 3 days.
- Day 1: Mark out and stand your walls.
- Day 2: Lay the roof, install glass and sealing.
- Day 3: Complete gutter and drainage work.
If custom flashings are required, the Team Leader will measure these and will return to fit flashings within 2 weeks.
FINAL PAYMENT — 3 DAYS
On completion of your conservatory, you will receive your final invoice.
CODE OF COMPLIANCE — 2 WEEKS
We will then apply for Code of Compliance on your behalf and notify you to arrange for Council to complete a final inspection of your conservatory. They will issue you a Code of Compliance and Producer Statement.
